finally listening to the previews of Nero’s album.
every fucking song so far is in the key of F.
it’s good and i actually kinda like it but whoever called this the “Music For The Jilted Generation” of this generation is just fucking wrong.
Aren’t the vast majority of dubstep songs in the key of F anyway (see: everything BAR 9 has ever fucking done)
That being said, there are a few good tracks on there (Departure, Crush On You, Me & You, Angst despite it heavily sampling Stress) but I wouldn’t exactly call it the best thing since sliced bread.
Am I the only guy here who thinks that Crush On You, Me & You,Angst and Departure are kinda whatever? Additionally, am I the only guy here who thinks Scorpions, Must Be The Feeling, My Eyes and Fugue State are absolutely amazing?
The only tracks on the album I flat-out dislike are Fugue State and Promises. Strongly agreeing that Scorpions and Must Be The Feeling are cool, though.
NERO — Me and You
From Welcome Reality (2011 | MTA)This track has a real earworm of a melody. I kinda love it right now.
Also, and I feel really awkward saying this, but it is actually legitimately good and fun dubstep. It is kind of surprising. Nero knows what they’re doing.
Easily one of the best tracks on Welcome Reality. I’m going to be listening to this album for awhile!
