[CHICAGO¤lollie — RETAIL] IS RELEASED
“RETAIL” is the culmination of my musical efforts from the year 2006, combined with the years of experience gained since their production.
Each and every track has been cleaned up; Mixing has been vastly improved, and poor quality samples have been replaced where necessary. A few tracks have seen further refinement to correct timing issues and effects, but are otherwise faithful to their original counterparts.
This was produced both in an effort to tie up loose ends with the release of these works, and as a “Thank you” of sorts to all the people who have supported my work on various forums and communities, despite its relative obscurity and hidden-away-ness.

TECHNICALLY A COMMISSION? I’M NOT SURE?
Renard was shopping around for someone to draw him an icon of his character playing a Virtual Boy, but this apparently coincided with a time in which nobody wanted money, me included.
So he instead offered to send me [amazing VHS tapes] in exchange for an icon. This worked for me. Somehow the thought of receiving VHS tapes puts less pressure on me.
During its creation however, Renard has also thrown another DVD my way (which has yet to arrive), and [an abundance of amazing epileptic GIFs]. And so what WAS an icon is now a full piece of artwork.
Because I’m stupid or something. ‘<’a
The VIRTUAL BOY was [3D-modeled as low-poly] so that I could use it as a reference to draw the wireframe, because there was no way I was going to draw it from scratch. It’s also a rather poor quality low-poly model, because I’ve yet to learn how to model properly, but this wasn’t really my focus so no matter.

I have a video commission to take care of next, so back into my hole-of-radio-silence I go.
